Just seem Sterling paid for 500 tickets for his old school. This is more than a publicity stunt. Really like the way Raheem is developing as a human being.
Hate how they promote the cup games by talking to as many mongs as possible. So cringe-worthy. Just stick to the teams please.
Not in that case. VAR actually lessened the chances of getting the right decision because they kept looking at a slow motion replay, which made it look more innocuous.
The fact that at least three people on here have said "seen them given" or "could have been red" illustrates to me that VAR worked how I believe it should. I don't want every 50-50 decision (or even, say, a 60-40 decision) being overturned on review. The "clear and obvious" line is essential. VAR should only lead to decisions being overturned which are clearly, unquestionably, wrong. Whilst I personally feel it was just about worthy of a red card, I'm happy to stick with the referee's on field decision on the basis that it was marginal enough.
Remember VAR is there to overturn clear and obvious errors, not to make the decisions. The ref had already decided yellow card each, so VAR's job was to decide if he'd made a clear and obvious error. It's quite possible that if the ref had given red card, VAR would've stuck with that decision too. Red card or not was a subjective decision, and I don't think it was clear enough either way for VAR to overturn the on-field decision, whichever way it went.
Na Nah! Would love City to win the domestic treble but let's have Tottenham winning the CL by beating Liverpool in the final!!
There is something different about this England team compared to previous ones. First they are more loveable, are playing better football. We don't have to suffer commentators saying how wonderful Beckham and Gerrard are, which is so refreshing. No prima donnas!!
Nothing wrong with a Pompey promotion. Nothing wrong with SFC doing great things next season {60 points plus in the PL}
Went to the Lennox bar here in Palma where they manage to show three different sporting events simultaneously. Outside they were showing the Grand National, whilst inside they had Bayern v Dortmund and City v Watford. Most of the people there were German and sadly the bar emptied at half.time. My friend is from Dortmund and she had had enough at half time. It really was Men v Boys, which begs the questions why didn't Bayern turn up in their CL match against Liverpool? Having observed part of the match, the stand out player for me was Lewindowski!! Very skilful and supremely intelligent, and such a contrast with the idiot that is Kyle Walker!!!
