    Because he has turned Tottenham - yes, Tottenham - into genuine title contenders, without spending hardly any money. That's a far bigger achievement than say, winning the League Cup as Man City manager.

    Inter? Hardly perennial CL winners! Chelsea when they hadn't won a league title in around 50 years, although they were winning cups prior to his and Abramovich's arrival.

    Porto, Inter in Champions league. I’d also argue winning La Liga was a huge achievement at the time.

    I would like to see what pep would do at a club like saints or any club outside the top clubs in europe. Of course would never happen but it is surely as big a test as producing a winning team with unlimited funds across europe. Barca bayern and man city...

    To be fair winning the Champions League with Porto was a huge achievement. You're always going to go to a big club after that.
