Bloody hell. The next generation of Wright/Wright-Phillips now plays for Man City.

    Ian Wright age 55
    Shaun W-Phillips age 37
    D'Margio W-Phillips age 17

Continuing at this rate Ian Wright will be a great-great-grandfather before his 80th birthday.

And he will still look like he's in his 30s.

I reckon Burton may well get a money spinning next round tie. Just a guess.

The best shot of the night, the one that hit Alli on the head. Apparently he went down looking for a penalty.

Absolutely pathetic from Arsenal fans! They should know better being London´s most famous and top club.

Fan. Just one fan. Don't like it when people condemn a whole team's fanbase due to one idiot.

OK! I stand corrected!!! Still pathetic from the individual and I wonder did the fans around him turn on him? If so, that is good!!

What a pity Bournemouth couldn´t get past Chelsea. Would have loved Bournemouth playing Burton for a place in the final but it is not to be.

I think Burton would rather have a two leg tie with City. Good on them.

45% of the gate at City, plus (I believe) six figures for each leg in TV rights. It's all a bit full-circle; their vault up through the divisions was aided by the financial windfall of a two-legged tie against Manchester United in the FA Cup (they drew the first leg at home and forced a replay at Old Trafford). Manager then was Nigel Clough; manager now is Nigel Clough.

It's also Clough's third cup semis in six years. I will not mention the previous one.

Sunderland sold over 40k for their home game on boxing day. Also taking in excess of 7.5k to Blackpool on NYD.

Incredible really for the third tier <applause>

Terrific appointment for him..... and well deserved.
Shame that he was undervalued & vilified in his later months at St Mary's; brought many good things to the club [particularly] when they were "down on their uppers"

Wish him well in the future too!

    Pats himself on the back.

To be fair, it was all pretty good until maybe three seasons ago, and a number of issues came to light, namely more than poor signings with multiple failings and the issues of the Agent business.

Other than that, Les should be applauded for his first 4-5 years here.
