    I was hoping to go for my 50th next year (I know, you wouldn’t believe it), but a large tax bill has put the mockers on that, so maybe in a few years time.

    The wife will think it is a red wine tour :)

    You need to go to Mendoza for that, a city 1000km to the west of the Argentine capital.

    I hope you manage to get to Salta and Jujuy in the northwest of the country and close to the Bolivian border. The Iguwasu (spelling) Falls are also an amazing sight, and where three countries meet - Argentina, Brazil (where Passport control doesn´t work on a Sunday) and Paraguay.

    Not since 1982! My late mother is from there and I have immediate family I haven't seen in about 20 years, so it will be quite emotional as well.

    Lovely Place...need to watch Gino's Italian Escape from last week (ITV hub again) as it is in Ravello!

    I think my problem is I may give up on Atlanta and the daughter/grandkids and stay in Italy forever...
