    Burnley just stayed up the season before last, and even though last season they were a revelation; they went in two long winless runs. It's hard to tell if they've just started that was this season, or that they are going to be bottom 5 residents all season. I like the look of the bottom 5 at the moment, some nice struggle potential there. But will we bekeeping them company??

    Another footballer passes on. Kevin Beattie, of Ipswich and England, died of a heart attack aged 64. He was such a powerhouse of a player too. Bobby Robson said of him that he was the best defender he'd ever seen. And to see him play you could understand that.
