Tight game tonight, but advantage Burnley after their late equaliser - it had to be a Southampton lad who did the damage too!. Aberdeen`s team cost approximately one month`s salary for Jack Cork ! (I`m a Cork fan, btw). Saints should beat Burnley first game of the season if we match their intensity - I seem to recall however Saints having most of the game last season, then the self same Vokes doing the damage.
Did you go? Bet it was a good atmosphere up there tonight. Hopefully Burnley will be knackered for the opener.
Yes, I went - can`t say I was that impressed with Burnley - well organised, a bit stuffy, with little flair ! Great atmosphere tonight! - getting Saints in Europe is on my bucket list !
https://in.news.yahoo.com/qpr-ordered-pay-42m-settle-130244458.html QPR fined 42 million for misleading EFL about financial results. Also a recruitment embargo.
@The Liebherr Legacy you'll be into this on the FSF. https://www.tifofootball.com/featur...s-federation-is-a-union-to-treasure-and-join/ I'd forgotten about that Bournemouth v Man City thing, what happened to that kid was awful.
Sorry didn't reply to this yesterdayas was hungover. Very interesting read, I hadn't realised the issues that City fan had. It does demonstrate very well that football supporters seem to have to live by a different set of rules. I also don't think it's right that a court can impose a banning order on someone without them being convicted of an offence.
Good source of hipster football opinions. Here's a bit on us from last November (and that was before it really started going wrong)
They needed extra time to put Aberdeen away. Saints don`t usually the opening game of the season, but I think we will this season.
I think we've got this. Really looking forward to seeing the hunger and desire (that was missing throughout the majority of last season) & maybe a 1-0 goal fest! No point getting too carried away though.
https://uk.yahoo.com/sports/news/ma...rs-ibrox-stadium-glasgow-ahead-212700598.html Brawl before Rangers game. Scottish football still lives in the shameful past.
Watching Derby v Reading, not the best game. Mount looks a decent player for Derby and how is Nugent still a starting striker at Champ level
I notice there are quite a few footballers playing tody wiith doublé barrell surnames. Ward-Prowse, Hudson-Odoi, Smith_Rowe, Loftus-Cheek, Fosu-Henry, Ahearne-Grant, Forster-Caskey, Maitland-Niles, Osei-Tutu, Taylor-Crossdale, Oakley-Boothe. There we have it. An entire football team!! Someone Will have to volunteer to go in goal.
