England U21s lead Qatar by 1-0 (an og), but need a good win to progress. Not a patch on the team of last two seasons, but then haven't got any Saints players.
Needed 5 goals to top the group....won 4-0, so level with Mexico on points and GD, but Mexico go through having scored one more goal. England have to wait 24 hrs to see if they go through as best runner up. All because of the Qatari GK....stopped at least 5 more goals. Exciting game.

Why do you need 3 countries to host it? One of which has already had it twice! It's absolutely barmy, imagine playing your group games in Canada and then having to go to Mexico City for your ko match against a side who have played all its group games in southern US/mexico. It's a ridiculous idea imo, I reckon Morocco would put on a great tournament. Think it's the fifth time they've bid for it too.
It’s one of the two biggest jobs in world football. Would be weird for an ambitious man to do or say anything else really.
