And they stop interviewing ex-Saints who have broken the rule that life is supposed to be crap after you leave...they're not supposed to be having a great time.
In the past teams have appeared to "down tools" in order to effect a change of manager, with the prime example being Chelsea in the season before Conte was appointed. If we look at this season´s PL is there a case for either West Ham or Southampton being guilty of this? Further afield, I would suggest Sevilla who have managed to get two managers sacked this season and have not won since beating Manchester United in the CL. In League 1, Bradford City have really bombed until they managed to win against Pompey (that club always inspires the opposition to win). At Christmas they were in the top 4 so guilty. What about Leeds in the Championship, top at one stage this season but I think that was a case of a very average team having a good run of form. But without a doubt the honour has to go to ......Sunderland!!
Imagine his smug grin if they win the Champions League, him having jumped ship from a poor underachieving team, with a manager who should have been moved on long before he was.... ... that turncoat @- Doing The Lambert Walk
Need Arsenal to lose as they play Huddersfield a few days before final and bound to rest everyone before that.
Arsenal have no final ball quality at the moment, had a couple of chances where they've got in behind.
