If not mathematically then symbolically them putting the final nail in is a real possibility. They'd ****ing love it too. Possibly could end up being remembered as the day that the non derby became a derby...
I have just borrowed these couple of lines from the BBC webpage and thought it would make a nice change to post something positive about Russia, or more specifically CSKA Moscow. "In his post-game press conference Wenger was presented with a Russian hat, like the ones given as gifts to the Arsenal fans in the away end by CSKA."
Unbelievable scenes in the Bundesliga game between Mainz and Freiburg this evening. Mainz are awarded a penalty courtesy of a VAR decision on handball. Only problem was that the half-time whistle had already gone and most of the players were back in the changing room. They are called back out on to the pitch and Pablo de Blasis, after waiting for the Freiburg keeper to arrive, scored from the spot. I still hate var.
Russian world cup if the bear had decided to go on a rampage the youtube clips wouldn't be be quite as funny as stewards chasing a squirrel across the pitch! https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43783325
Matt Targett seems to have really come of age playing at Fulham. What does the Fulham manager know, that successive Saints´managers didn´t? Admittedly he is older and wiser than when he first appeared but I am pleased for him and hope his form continues. And if he goes to Fulham on a permanent basis, I wish him all the best for a great career.
Just needed a proper chance. Hope his time here hasn't ended. Met him and Harrison last season, just walking around on match day, comes across really down to earth.
