Playing the first match at Anfield again behind closed doors might be appropriate. I am sure the "hostility" aimed at the bus disrupted the mindset of the City players, thus making the match void. If this happened a lot of other clubs accross Europe would get the message.

Someone needs to take a stand against this type of ****e. Unfortunately if Pep & City won't, then no one will. Shame IMO.

A crowd of over 25K is expected at SMS tonight for the Ladies England v Wales match. That's what you need to do....set the price right and get bums on seats to create an atmosphere. I've noticed in earlier games that there are lots of kids in the crowd....probably why it's a 7 o'clock kick off too. An important qualifier between 2 home nations....a real chance for a family trip out to see an international.....people who could probably never go to Wembley to see a men's international.

G. Pelle arrested in Italy <yikes><yikes>

He’s apparently the most wanted man in Italy. He’s probably one of the most wanted men for Saints too ..... :emoticon-0105-wink:

Just checked the score, of the women’s international.
Can’t say that I am surprised by the 0-0 score line. It is SMS, after all.
It’s really exciting but England just haven’t been able to convert any of the 7 trillion chances they have created.

I wish Saints could select Toni Duggan on the right wing, she’s incredible!

Can Fulham in 3rd possibly get to 93 points? Can Cardiff get to 98 points? Can Wolves celebrate promotion because how often does and 2nd and 3rd placed team get to 89. It has been done and is rare, but ........? Cardiff´s fantastic run has come to an end, while Fulham are on a monster of an unbeaten run!! Come on Fulham. Well there is a Saint involved and unlike other loanees, he has been getting regular football.

Went to the game this evening. We were really good second half, just couldn't score. First half was quite sloppy. Decent crowd of 25000ish. Wales set up for the draw and they got it, defended really well. I was sat above the Welsh subs, right behind the BBC ex player pundits. Interesting place to be sat!!

I'd love it if Cardiff bottled it, horrible bunch of fans.

Compared with the likes of Wolves, Fulham and Villa, I believe their footballing philosophy is rather more agricultural, not that it paid any dividends last night as the resultant free kick ended up in the back of the net. It will still take a monumental collapse from Cardiff for either Fulham, or Villa even, to get the second automatic spot.
