That really is terribly sad.

 

I´d like to recall an amusing incident involving Ray Wilkins playing for England against Brazil, in Brazil. As the ball went out of play for an England throw, the ballboy retrieved it rather slowly, at which point Ray´s voice was picked up by the pitchside microphones when he urged the ballboy to "Give me the ****ing ball!"

RIP!!!

Liverpool’s famous sense of humour extends to smashing the City coach windows and throwing smoke bombs inside. Hilarious.

 

Last year and again this year we've had the need to rearrange games missed due ot Cup matches, and had them left right ot the end of the season because they 'can't clash with midweek UEFA matches' e.g. Champions League or Europa Lge.


Can anyone explain why the Milan derby (and other Italian matches) are being played this evening?

I hate these nights, because they make me start to understand people like VVD.

I remember Ray Wilkins scoring a cracker at the Milton Road end, must`ve been season 75/76 or 76/77 - Saints won 4-1. Anyone else remember it ?
