Because they play each other in the league anyway and it means our 2 remaining clubs play each other. I'm sure that others disagree, but I have no interest in matches without a GB team in it. Not a fan of European football.
Fair enough. Annoyingly City the only one of the big teams left who I think Liverpool could beat over 2 legs. Can't see them beating Juve/Bayern/Real/Barca over 2 games though. You could look at it the other way and see it as a GB team guaranteed to make the semis, both could have gone out if they had drawn one of those 4.
A few months ago I said a Bayern v Liverpool final and it is still on. Funnily enough, I feel City will be the more nervous of the two teams, knowing they have a superior team and should win, but ...... Juve v Real is a very close call, Barca should overcome Roma while I will be amazed if Sevilla eliminate Bayern, despite having the great Steven N´Zonzi!!! And I would love Arsenal to win the EL now, despite having JW in their squad.
At first I thought it was coincidental but the more I look into I'm convinced that it was a bit naughty.
It is the choice of their members. I can one element in your view if let´s say to teach at the University in Bilbao, you need to be fluent in both Castellano and Basque. Then that is tantamount to elitism.
Yeah surely it would be on the front rather than the back if that was the case? Like you say we'll never know for sure but the 96 on the back coupled with the phrases makes me suspect something more sinister. Made in Turin apparently...
Think it's a case of copying it after seeing it somewhere, but without any idea of significance. I bet if you ask the actual designer they'd think it was a tribute....not everyone follows football or the news. May even have been designed abroad. You'd have thought someone would have spotted it before it went into the shops.
Yes, if you didn't know what it meant. If you didn't know people aimed it at Liverpool fans, you could believe it was referring to the court victory. Karma referred to the police and others involved. There is no way that Top Shop would insult customers....it's a stupid mistake. No more than that.
Arsenal V cska is great new. Best tie we could hope for with our game so close. Our luck, may well be beginning to change.
It is very careless for sure. At least they have done the right thing, in my opinion, by withdrawing it.
