Considering the other semi final isn't done yet, my order of preference for the winners is Bayern, Arsenal, PSG.

Bayern for me so Kane can say he has won it, then Arsenal as they are one of ours and then PSG a very distant last.

Yeah would like to Kane win it. Deserves it more than anyone. Happy for Arsenal to do it. Fair f*cks to them for competing so well against the oil cheats this season.

It's also nice to say we beat the European champions.
I was listening to Radio 5 Live, and they kept mentioning that Man City had beaten Arsenal because they had 'worked them out'. No mention of Arsenal's defeat by a certain other team on 4th April, however...

Kompany getting found out by Enrique. Bayern far too slow in getting the ball forwards - remind you of anyone?

Due to location and age most of my football interest is confined to tele now and when watching Wrexham and Wales I'm often intrigued why Keefer Moore is invariably referred to as "Keefer Moore" instead of simply Moore, by all commentators. I've also been developing an interest in the Scottish PL race hoping that Hearts can nick it (although for some inexplicable reason I would prefer Hibs). However imagine my surprise whilst watching Hearts v Rangers this weekend that the commentators always referred to the Rangers midfielder Moore as "Mikey Moore". Any Moore's out there who can provide an explanation?

I would get out more but I'm frightened I may bump into Kirsty Allsopp

My guess is that Moore could easily be confused with ‘more’.

“They need to get the ball to Moore, more”. Sounds a bit funny.

“More (or Moore?) excellent play by the defender.” Eh?

What. A. ****. Completely out of touch with the real world.

How the **** is this pustulating boil on the arsehole of football is able to continue in without being removed?

This, from the article, needs to be implemented as widely as possible:-

"Infantino's statement came as Fifa updated its ticket resale platform so that World Cup matches in Toronto could only be sold for their original price.
The change is to comply with the Ontario government's recent ban on reselling event tickets above face value."

A quick search for countries where a ban or limit is in place or moves are underway to implement same found this.

"Key Regions and Implementations (as of 2026)
  • United Kingdom: Following intense pressure, the UK government is implementing a full ban on ticket resale above face value for live events (concerts, theatre, comedy, sport).
    • New Laws: Set for 2026, these laws will cap resale prices at face value and limit service fees to prevent resellers from adding extra costs.
    • Platforms: Major, ethical platforms like Twickets operate on a face-value-only model.
  • Ireland: Since July 31, 2021, the Sale of Tickets Act has made it illegal to resell tickets above face value for designated venues with a capacity of over 1,000.
  • France: Unauthorised commercial resale of tickets is a criminal offense, and selling above face value without permission is banned.
  • Australia (Various States): Several states, including Victoria and Western Australia, have laws banning ticket scalping (reselling above face value).
  • Belgium: For-profit resale above face value is banned and treated as an unfair commercial practice.
  • Netherlands: Platforms such as TicketSwap are popular, where a price cap of up to 20% above the original ticket price usually applies.
  • Canada (Ontario): The province is amending its Ticket Sales Act to ban the resale of tickets for more than their original cost, particularly in response to high-demand events."

Congrats to Villa.

Find it daft that neutral fans were getting upset with them for fielding a weakened side against Spurs.

Like, seriously, it’s a European final at stake ffs. Why give a sh*t about Tottenham?

If Villa win the EL and finish 5th the 6th placed team will qualify for the Champions League. That team is currently Bournemouth.
