I don’t think we're obsessed, we just want him to fail spectacularly. I feel I have every right to enjoy this because of his smug, arrogant interviews last year where he had the national press in the palm of his hand and got nationwide sympathy when he was sacked. He put his own interests above the club's and this is nothing less than poetic justice and I plan to enjoy every minute of it until he's sacked. Definitely not obsessed.

I watched the game mainly because it was a game of football involving a British club. RM being in charge gave the game an extra edge and it really felt as if I was watching the Saints from last season. Goal 1 was a complete failure of communication between the two CBs and the keeper. Goal 2 was scored by an unmarked player from a corner, albeit with the help of a deflection. Goal 3 came from a series of poor clearances, when under a little pressure, before the ball was driven through the defence by a player with too much time and space. Second half saw Rangers improve, much as the Saints would sometimes improve, but you are left wondering if they have got better or the other team has eased off and made you look better. It was all so Saintsy. I’ll be watching the Celtic game tonight.
Yeah got to agree. Manager comes to us when we are in a dire place, fixes us up, improves us for a while, but due to his stubbornness, the team again starts to decline and ultimately fails, essentially taking us full circle, back to dire. Could be about Ralph as much as Russ. Not a big difference.
Yes there is. Ralph actually managed to win quite a few games in the PL and he never made it all about him unlike Martin. Huge difference between the two.
But it is interesting that fans of all his past clubs came to this board to slag him off when he signed here. There is something about him that bothers people. To be honest, I still quite like him. Glad his football is gone though.
