    How the f*** have Ratcliffe's Manchester United got this far in the Europa League? I shall be praying fervently that homespun Athletic can beat the Ratcliffe galácticos in their semi. It is galling to imagine either Tottenham or Newton Heath in any European competition next season given the way both have performed this season.

    Bodo Glimt are through. Would not be at all surprised to see them in the final, and given how much people on this board love Tottenham, I suspect Bodo would be the choice of most on here.

    It is Ratcliffe's Manchester United now, just as it was Gerrard's Villa, Rooney's Plymouth and now Lampard's Coventry! Spurs have been equally bad. Fingers crossed for an Athletic v Bodo final!
