Yeah, the assistants and the 4th official (most likely the assistant referee in this case) can advise the referee.
Didn't know that, just without the benefit of a replay I assume. Edit- ignore me I know whee I was getting confused now
Commentators banging on about Taylor waving the yellow before he got the red out, but he didn’t wave the yellow, he just got it out and changed his mind.
Oh yeah no replay. The assistant may have had a better angle of that Delph challenge and advised Taylor it was a red.
The other good thing is that we've yet to have the inevitable mistake from Bravo. So at some point during this second half...
On another note, does anyone else think of the Simpson episode where Homer changes his name everytime they hear Max Power? 'I got it off a hairdryer'
The ref is likely to come under a lot of pressure to send a Wigan player off, to equal things up, this half. Hopefully the Wigan players won’t give him the opportunity.
Wigan forward line struggling to make any sort of impression in this half, anywhere on the pitch, sadly. Not that they can be blamed.
Had a few moments where final ball/ decision making let them down but don't look that dangerous this half. Stay in it though and they'll likely get one chance...
