The contact was because Alli put his leg in an unnatural position so that it would get kicke, before throwing himself over to make sure the ref knew

He had no intention of getting to the ball and shooting, he was 100% after a penalty, and it worked for him.

Like Newport in the last round, you can completely understand why Rochdale went into their shell in this second half. But that goal does make you wonder what could have been if they'd continued to attack.

Then again, they've got a 2-2 draw (barring a late winner). Brilliant stuff.
