The east v west Southern League derby should be tasty tomorrow night with two ex-Saints on show with Jake Hesketh for Sholing and Charlie Austin for Totton. Both clubs got their league campaigns off to a winning start on saturday. Matt Le Tiss and Levi Colwill are on the board at Sholing now and I'm looking forward to sitting in the new Pangea stand behind the goal.
Koeman really liked him, academy playrr of the season thay year. Subbed on against Man Utd, started him away at Burnley, and the poor lad was bullied off the pitch early on and Koeman never gave him another chance. Same with Puel. Started him away in Israel, took him off after half hour cos he couldn't handle the atmosphere and that was it. Never got another chance. Saw out his long term contract here and been tumbling down the leagues since. Shame really.
Carabou cup draw after the Leeds v Middlesbrough game Wednesday. Straight to pens if level after 90 minutes. Genuinely hope we don’t draw the skates.
Otherwise known as "The EFL and Sky have agreed a deal to show the one Saints Carabou Cup game live, before we get knocked out by a lower league team"
Still scarred by Gillingham last season. **** town. **** ground. **** game. The memory of a Lyanco/Perraud centre back pairing. Djenepo in CM. Mara doing **** all and Tall Paul coming on for reasons unknown. Shuddering at the thought.
Blimey. Leeds tonked. Awful start for them. I dread to think what will happen to them if they fail to get promoted again. Their wages must be crippling already
