Blackburn have been really good tonight. Way better than I've seen them in the league recently, and they should be in front. I only realised earlier today that the cup final is the day before the play-off final. The FA and EFL took a risk (albeit a small one) with that scheduling!
I'm assuming one would be moved if a club were to feature in both. Although you wouldn't know until shortly before hand due to the play offs structure. Very odd one.
This ET at Blackburn has been great fun! End to end, exciting, great saves, bad misses! **** the EFL Cup which goes straight to pens.
A continuation of the 90 minutes (with a bit of Newcastle improvement as aided by fresher legs). I think so often whether ET is worthwhile will depend on the 90 minutes. A great 90 minutes like this one, and you want another 30. Whereas if the 90 minutes has been a borefest, you're desperate for it to just go straight to penalties so that the match can be consigned to the bin.
Celtic and Rangers both lost this weekend. The last time it happened was 3 February 2018. Still a gap of 13 points between Celtic in second and third placed Hearts.
Nathan Jones' Charlton are unbeaten in five games, a run in which they've played all of the top 3 teams. Thierry Small is doing well there too, having been reverted to a LM.
