    They have dropped off a fair bit. Plymouth look more dangerous. And personally I'm pleased about that. I very much feel like our fates are connected, they go up, we go down.

    Barnsley appoint Jose Morais as manager on an 18 month contract. The man may be a genius of course, but I suggest any British managers change their names to something exotic if they ever want employment.

    By coincidence, in the week that Ryan Mason announced his retirement Hull go to Chelsea tonight and their fans are taking Mason shirts so fair play to them.
