Varane moaning about the new rules. Quite shocking to see him upset players can no longer berate referees. I didn’t see anyone in the lower leagues moaning. So glad to be back here. I want to win the league but then stay here…

 

The wording of the article seems deliberately misleading. The quotes mostly seem linked to the extra minutes. Which for someone made of glass would make sense

 

He does say he doesn’t agree with players not being ‘allowed to show emotion’. They can show any emotion apart from anger… so not sure what else he means.

 

When it comes to punishing dissent in the PL, I'll believe it when I see it. I think I'll call it the Bruno Test.

Hopefully it will indeed be applied to the same level that we've just experienced. It would great, not least because Bruno would be getting sent off every week. But are referee's really going to start booking him every time he knocks the ball away or complains at a decision? Because boy he does that a lot. And what about when he's already on a yellow card and he then does that?

 

Cannot believe the support Trump still has in the States. He would be seen as a dangerous loony in most countries. However, the internet reveals how many strange and gullible people there are out there. Probably a lower % of the population than we think though as sensible people tend to avoid being trawled into arguments.
