    How is your Italian coming along? I've done a couple of work certifications this year and my next mission is to be conversational in Italian by Christmas. Going to immerse myself in Italian TV (with English subtitles) and am reading as much Italian news/magazines as I can.

    I’m in Bari with The Cult until Monday, so rather suspect my dubious Italian will need to be used (though the drummer is American-Italian. I don’t know if his is much cop though!)

    Ha! About right. The band fly in tomorrow (rain). We have a free day Saturday when it’s windy at least, then the show on Sunday which looks sunny. It’s not all bad, but the whole of next week looks lovely, and we all fly out on Monday <doh>

    That Norway squad should be so much better than they are. Beyond Haaland there is plenty of quality, yet they're highly unlikely to qualify now, which would run them to 24 years without making a major tournament.

    Norway1-0 up with a Haaland penalty. Off comes Haaland, on comes Moi ( and Stu) - Scotland win 2-1. No the Norway manager really isn`t Ralph, Jones or Selles !
