Given up on Utd vs St Etienne. I just switched over to watch the highlights of City vs Monaco. How good would City be if they had even a rudimentary defence? Perhaps even a world class English keeper. Doh!

 

Sevilla thriving on a recruitment and sell-on policy that looks remarkably similar to our own. They keep turning over the successful signings for a profit, replace them with talented unknowns, and maintain their own status near the top of La Liga. The difference between them and us is that they've been winning trophies; we can start to put that right on Sunday though.

In the meantime, c'mon Leicester. They have nothing to lose tonight and I fancy them to get something out of this leg.

Hard to see where that's coming from at the moment.

When they played us at St Marys last season, they looked dead and buried at half time, but came out in the 2nd half and beat us to every ball, were utterly unrelenting, got in our faces for 45 minutes, and left us feeling lucky to hang on to a point. Are they capable of a 2nd half like that tonight? As I said, hard to see it. Fingers crossed though.

 

Wonder how much they'll get for Mahrez in the summer.

Yeah I was being hopeful more than anything. I mean, I know they were never going to be anywhere near as good as last year. But they're such a shadow it's unbelievable really.

 

Was just thinking that 1-0 down was pretty good for Leicester. Then Sevilla make it 2-0. Now it's extremely uphill.

 

Hard to know what to say really. Just remembered Drinkwater playing for England. Mahrez and Vardy 7th/8th in Ballon d'Or. All seems ridiculous now.
