Of course, most players are in the younger category, so unlikely that we will be affected....unless any are taken as older players. Apparently teams don't have to release players for the Olympics as it falls outside the FIFA remit, but it would be a shame to deny them the opportunity. It's supposed to be a great experience as you mix with elite athletes from all disciplines as you live in the Olympic villages. Mind opening. Murray remarked how wonderful that was.

Can understand someone wanting a shot of a stadium and players, but some film everything.....don't they realise that they are distancing themselves from the excitement. Is it more important to prove that you were there than to actually be there in that moment. They film penalties for heaven's sake....no edge of the seat stuff for them...let's concentrate on getting it framed. Just look at those people in the shot of the crowd....are they excited...no! If you want proof of how it distances you from the action....there are films out there of people taping their own deaths because they haven't realised the danger of someone pointing a gun at them.
