Quite remarkable and almost uncanny. Hoddle was a hugely gifted player. He was really a generation before MLT (just). He was a player who could find a pass anywhere and was majestic. England should have built a team around Hoddle and then slipped MLT into that as Hoddle bowed out. Sadly wasted both talents, although Glenda given more opportunities.hoddle 53 (?) caps; Le Tiss 8 caps. The uncanny part? Despite his doing stuff I liked and I was a big fan, he says some of the most irritating things and often appears to be on the wind up! Mmm.....
If van Gaal stayed, heads would roll as he tried to find out who was at fault (since obviously it couldn't be him). If he goes (which seems likely), it is too early to say who the new manager would want. Flops under van Gaal (and I wouldn't call Morgan a flop) could suit the next manager.
I agree Fran, and I can't see LvG staying, so until they know who the new guy is they won't be selling anyone. Poch would snap him up in a jiffy though, no doubt. Step up on Mason etc. Damn I'd love to have him back though!
Morgan will be given a chance under the new Utd manager I am sure.......plus skin flint Levy won't pay what he's worth. I am sure I read somewhere that he tried to offer us £12m for him?
I thought I had seen, somewhere, that Mourhino had signed some sort of pre-contract, thingy with Utd? Maybe I dreamt it. Surely Morgan would fit his style, if true.
The worst of the tabloid press was creaming its collective shreddies with the claim that Mourhino has signed a pre-contract contract (whatever the **** that is!).
Zlatan - "For the moment, I will not be at PSG next season. I still have a month and a half left here. If they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me, then I will stay." Will he finally come to the premier league?
I think he might. Would be great to see. Should have done it a little earlier in his career. However, if he's half the player he was he'll still be great.
Personally I doubt it, remember him saying a little while ago that his next move would surprise a lot of people. Think he will go to China/MLS or (hopefully) back to Malmo as he has also previously said that he wanted to go back to his first club before he retired.
LOL! That's what it looks like when a fat boy attempts a bicycle-kick! Fortunately for Deano, it came off.
Rumours abound that West Ham want him. Would be quite the statement signing moving into the Olympic Stadium....and they could be playing CL too....
