Your right he did play for us.....does anyone know why he is able to be in tonight's Liverpool squad? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/33994069
It's a bit convoluted but because we got knocked out in the qualifying round, he can play for another team in the group/knockout stage. Don't ask why.
Ok what's going on Valencia are winning 4-0 after 30 mins Gary Neville for Utd? EDIT 5-0 after 35mins!
The Football Association are carrying out an investigation to ascertain whether Mansfield Town striker Adi Yussuf urinated in front of opposition supporters. Plymouth Argyle fans reported the forward for allegedly urinating in front of them as he warmed up during the Stags' 3-0 loss at Home Park http://www.itv.com/news/2016-02-18/...striker-adi-yussuf-urinated-in-front-of-fans/
*tips hat* Hate to admit it but sometimes their fans are good. That's is funny. They do have some great songs. I like the George Best "Spirit in the Sky" one.
This is what happens when you don't continually sing songs about a rival who you only play once every 10 years or so, throughout your history. You give yourself a chance to be creative.
http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/news/42069/ Article about Morgan...suggesting he shouldn't have left Saints. Apparently a lot of comments on twitter about the fact he seems to be going backwards. Don't agree with a couple of things. He may well think warmly about his time here, but I doubt he regrets leaving. He is at a big club going through a poor time....not just him. If he has any confidence in himself at all, I'm sure he thinks there will be better times....maybe under a different manager. These things happen in football....remember there were bad times at Saints in his tenure here. He is paid well and is training with friends and playing football sometimes. Not that hard a life. Also they suggest that his reputation has suffered and no one at a big club will want him...hasn't set the world on fire, but managers see beyond this. If he suits another team, he will still draw interest. They are right that in general players who leave don't do well, but most are young enough to turn things round....providing they don't get lazy.
Jose Baxter suspended by Sheffield United (for the second time in nine months). Allegedly partial to a bit of sniff.
Agree about United fans (particuarly away) being great and do have a lot of variety in their songs. They seem to be all able to sing in time as well Also shame that Rooneys injured but I'm looking forward to seeing how England line up without him in the next 2 games. Though it's rubbish to say he shouldn't even be in the squad.
