Wales voted Labour.
Northern Ireland voted DUP.
But England voted Tory so that's who we get.

Well... so it should.

I'm not an SNP supporter. However, living in Scotland as I do, I'm in favour of localized autonomy (for example, an independent Scotland) that lives within a larger political/bureaucratic framework where we control our own affairs but have a say in larger political affairs. For example, being part of the EU.

I'd go further. Seats (communities) within an indy Scotland should each have their own autonomy so that they can minister to the local needs of their people and argue with an indy Scotland parliament. An indy Scottish parliament is free to argue back to it's own seats/regions/communities BUT does so in terms of it's dealings with the larger body in the framework; in this case the EU.

In other words... power to the ****in people!
