I should think there are very few immigrants who care about people celebrating St George's Day. It's the bureaucrats with too much time on their hands who will look to quell nationalistic events - but they can go **** themselves. Every single day is a day of patriotism in the Ponders household.
I cannot believe you two have fallen for it again I never open his links until someone else says they're ok first
Have they quelled st George's day though Ponders ? I hear a lot about how councils are banning this and banning that but never with any concrete evidence or examples.
I know, have to hand it to him though,he was quiet for weeks(or I didn't get caught) and gently reeled us in
There are certainly concrete examples of the 'quelling'. I'll post a few links at some point. I once had a council official knock at my door and ask me to remove a St G flag from my garden. I told him - quite politely - to die.
It was in Ponders End. The council thought my show of patriotism would upset a few of the locals. It was all bollocks, though. My friends include Kenyans, Turks, an Ecuadorian, Kurds et al, yet no one ever took umbrage to my behaviour. My home is my castle and all that stuff. And all are welcome.
