The inability to differentiate between to and too is another irritation for me Bure, the loss of when to use apostrophes has become a national joke (embarrassment) and the acceptance of replies like thx is because people are too lazy to write in full a 6 letter word is just pathetic.
As for the BBC on the Breakfast Programme, this should be renamed the Breakfast Weather Show as that is the only thing they actually report on. They even run trailers for it saying the full summary will follow in about 10 minutes time and then the presenter giggle with the clowns on the couch when the actual report has been delivered.I put BBC 1 on so that I can see some headlines on Red Button and from the end of January that is going as well. That means that I will have to turn on my computer at some ungodly hour or be forced to listen to the aforementioned Muppets.

Re the product recall by Hotpoint / indesit:

Sue Davies, Which? strategic policy adviser, said: ‘This safety alert will cause huge disruption for millions of people who will have no washing machine over Christmas.

Stupid cow, what about the thousands without homes, shelter or food over xmas - and beyond? <doh>

Not sure she's stupid at all, she is giving direct reference to people who have a faulty machine and will in fact experience some disruption.

If she'd said they we're facing hardship beyond measure and that no one else will be so hard up, I take your point, but she wasn't.

If I make a comment about NCFC being rediculously unlucky with injuries, am I being insensitive because homeless people have it worse? In the big issue you might have a point , but on a football forum (Or in Which? magazine in her case. i call your stupid call, a stupid thing.

I'm sure this is some moralistic point you're making about it being XMas but really I'm sure they'd rather be looked after and considered the other 364 days of the year than one farcical overhyped festival of commerce.

Bah(humbug)!
