via @StuartHumphryes on Twitter better known as Babelcolour.

Armistice Day: 11am on Tuesday 11th November 1919, vast crowds in London observe the very first 2 minute silence for those killed in the Great War. The men have removed their hats out of respect for the fallen. (I originally colourised this photo for the Evening Standard in 2019).

Rapper Kanye West has said he intends to run for US president in 2024, despite facing several scandals over his recent behaviour.

The star, who has legally changed his name to Ye, posted a video of his campaign logo to social media, alongside the caption Ye 24.

He also claimed to have asked Donald Trump to be his running mate.

And we think we have problems <doh>

This might be of interest to someone.
Took car breakdown cover with Dynamo + last year at a cost of £25.which I paid in full.
Suddenly today I noticed £7 had been taken from my bank account by Dynamo.
I emailed them and they sent a standard reply that they are allowed to do this due to RPI and inflation + 3.5%.
Numerous posters on Trust Pilot have had the same experience.
    Nothing but robbing bastards.

Avoid this company if you don't want them dipping into your bank account without your permission

    Apparently they can.
It's hidden on page 45 of the terms and conditions.
It is amazing though that companies can and do operate like this in these hard times.
It will obviously be the last time I use this company

Auto renewal is also another rip off.
I never except the first quote for anything.

Renewed my House Insurance today, after phoning the company, got a cheaper price than last year.
Auto renew would have seen a 15% increase

Yes auto renewal is a rip off. I have travel insurance via my credit card and I know if I need to get through to them it will be hours on the phone.... yet they still blame covid for their giant long wait times!

Strange but true. Here in Bauang, Philippines, there have long been two all white coaches with " Warning, Mourners on board " painted on the rear. Very dangerous mourners in this region apparently.

They don't mourn with gunfire like certain other cultures do?

yes, got elected last year if I remember correctly

On another note I'm on holiday in Thailand and learned that the reason they drive on the left is because the British royal family have the Thai king the first car and so that's why they drive on the left. The king does so everyone else must as well

Plus they have a border with Malaya, who, because of colonial rule, also drive on the left.
