Boris Johnson has been ordered to appear in court over claims he lied by saying the UK gave the EU £350m a week.
The Tory leadership candidate has been accused of misconduct in public office after making the claim during the 2016 EU referendum campaign.

    Bye bye PM job

    :police::police::police: Political posting alert!:police::police::police:

I wouldn't trust him or any of the other candidates to run a bath leave alone a Country and Brexit. But to be even handed none of the other chief protagonists could organise a pissup in a brewery! We're all doomed!

    Bah!

Up at stupid o'clock - as is fairly customary these days.
Listening to Solar radio, which I do quite a lot and sent them
this tweet just after 4 this morning.

    Their reply: <laugh>
    [T.M. is the DJ, obviously]

Don't hold your breath on that. It's a private prosecution and I very much doubt that it will come to anything. It occurs to me that if I rank the contenders in order of how I would choose them it's probably the reverse order to how they will fare.

I went to Blakeney (beach car park full and closed) and walked along what is
called Friary Hills to the very quirky, hipster and cool Wiveton Hall cafe
(as in that 'Normal for Norfolk' programme.)
One of my fave places recently since I now (sadly) drink more coffee than I do beer based on trying to keep my fluid intake to a minimum.
Saw 6 cattle egrets - unsurprisingly, in a field full of grazing cows.
Distant but lovely as I'd not seen the species ever before.
And a classic pic (not mine) of our Cromer peregrines coming in to land on the church tower.
All 3 eggs hatched last weekend and the young have voracious appetites!

I haven't been to Wiveton Hall café in a couple of years. One of my favourite walks up there, is to park on Wiveton Downs and walk down into Blakeney for an ice cream/beer/coffee (delete as applicable). Other times I’ve walked over the hills to Salthouse, or got the bus to Wells and then walked back along the North Norfolk Coast Path.

Edit - Must get to the Fishing Boat before the tourists descend in their hordes!!!

Let me know a convenient date.
Mon, Wed and Fridays (or Sundays, but ideally in the garden as they often have bang average / crap live music in the bar from 3 p.m.) are best for me with my medical commitments on the other weekdays.

Yes, probably the end of this Month or early next and Friday is best. Then I can have fish and chips for tea before catching the bus home!!
DEFINITELY a nice enough day so that we can sit in the garden is essential. <cheers><ok>
Edit - Didn't do the 'ale' emoji, as their selection of ales is not good/not to my liking!!! <laugh>

Was looking for a link to the website 'What Flo said', a list of bands that played
Cromer Royal Links Pavilion & West Runton Links back in the 70s and 80s.
The link to the website appears broken (anyone help me out please?) but I did come across this during my search which would have been an awesome way to part with £2!!

Hope all Dads have had a great Fathers' Day.
I met my son for a few beers in the Ribs, before going on to the Artichoke. He was meeting some mates later, so I went to the Plasterers for another beer and a pizza.
I don't think I've ever been so drunk during the day!!

Edit - I've just found out that there is an error in my post (where are the grammar :police: when you need them???).
It should be Father's Day!!! <yikes>

Can someone provide a ray of hope on the current state of politics? How have things got this bad with a stark choice between a proven liar and self serving cock monkey and the 70s throwback whose policies who send the country back decades. And Nigel ****ing Farage the allegedly acceptable face of modern racism.
