Or do something less predictable than the norm and bring in Matk Robins ... ex fox who has worked miracles with several different piles of ****... and he'd have a huge pile of the stuff to play around with at ours ...

Laurel & Hardy (Faes and Vestergaard) should never be allowed to pull on the shirt again -:Same for Harry (barely) Winks, never mind put a shift in ...

I was also sitting down at half time. In my car, going home!

I've supported us through some bad times, years of misery pre 2014 and not left. But, something is very toxic and wrong within our club. I couldn't take anymore today.
 
Having had a few hours to digest and calm down, I don't think we can blame the manager for everything. It's not his fault Winks falls on his arse in the first minute. He only arrived with two weeks to go and has yet to have a window to get rid of deadwood and bring in his players. We all know this decline has been coming since Rodgers last season and it's very hard to stop. Maresca still had a great squad but the best of them also left and then the buying under Cooper was dire. This requires a total rebuild and I'm undecided if this would be better without King Power. If we can get away with a six-point deduction and have a good January window I see Cifuentes turning this around.

When is the decision on a potential points deduction going to be made? Imposing one part way through the season seems ridiculous and based on how many points need to be deducted to have the effect the ruling board want, rather than a pre-determined and consistent penalty system. Surely nothing happening this season should affect the decision?
 
Who were those imposters playing for us today? Goes to show that if we actually apply ourselves and show some desire we can give anyone a game in this league. The standard isn’t great in the championship this season so we need to use this as a springboard and make sure we don’t let the standards drop for the Bristol City game next up. Hopefully this isn’t a false dawn, we’ll see.

Winks has to go in January... he's not only a financial drain, but also not one to roll his sleeves up, which you have to do in this division. Further, he's rather average when it gets to Prem level... he'll do OK abroad somewhere... more sedate pace... but wages could be an issue...

Skipp and James were really good in the engine room and de Cordova-Reid playing behind the striker also worked well ... whilst Ayew was unlucky to have a perfectly good goal ruled out - he's still not the answer to our striker issue - neither is Patson Daka...

Fun fact - we finished the game with 7 lads on the pitch that have come through the academy... Stolarcyk, L Thomas, Nelson, Aluko, Choudhry, Page and S Thomas...

Unless James had a injury, Cifuentes has to really look at his decisions! to replace him with Daka <steam> The Bristol manager knew what to change at half time, sorry but our manager seems clueless.
