3-2 to us would have been a fair result.
Mildenhall's mistake cost us the win.
Richards put in a good shift throughout the game.
Santos put in the effort but things did not come off for him.
    Norburn anonymous (again)
Lockyer outshone Parkes, who is nowhere as good as he has been.
Harrold scored within seconds of coming on...made a BIG difference.
    Beardsley worked hard and tidily.
Clarke unlucky not to score with a first half left foot long range shot
which hit the inside of the post and bounced out.
Reasonable first half performance; good in second half.

Well it was a draw, but the game was nothing like i expected it would be. Mildenhall was terrible all game, looked uncertain whenever a cross came in and was poor for first and third goals. Second goal he was caught off his line but could do nothing as it was a brilliant strike. Rovers tried to passthe ball and when we do this we are a much better side. Although York perhaps deserved their half time lead we were excellent in the second half and had them camped inside their own half. Harrold changed the game and held the ball up well. Win was deserved on second half display, only for Mildenhall to get caught out of position and drop a cross. Definitely signs of progress but three goals conceded is disappointing.

I wish I was there as it sounded like a thriller.

It's definitely a game we should of won for the shift we put in and for our attacking play. Mildenhall's errors cost us, but as Ward said in his post match interview we shouldn't blame him as he's been excellent for us.

Clear evidence that if we attack and play more positively then we are a dangerous team. Let's carry this philosophy into our league matches.

exactly. when we play too negative we are pants going forward and create hardly anything. but when we actually play attacking football we look dangerous and we score goals. if it wasnt for individual errors at the back then we would dominate more games and win easily. however i dont see ward changing.
