TEAM NEWS Bristol Rovers manager John Ward has no new injury or suspension concerns, as his side look to extend their unbeaten run to six games. Defender Danny Woodards suffered a head injury in Saturday's win over Oxford but will be available to play. VIEWS FROM THE TRAINING GROUND Bristol Rovers manager John Ward told BBC Radio Bristol: "At the moment it's nice and people are feeling positive. "But you can have a couple of games where you get beat and suddenly people start to question what you've been doing well. "There's a good mood at the moment and we've got to work hard to maintain that."

Im going to be elsewhere in the ground in this game. Im always in the blackthorn but im going to be in the uplands for this game. New experience. Have always been in the blackthorn.
I'm usually on the uplands terrace but if you're there I'm going in the Blackthorn. But seriously I'm taking my nephews and they want to go in the Blackthorn.
I'll be on the Uplands Terrace (as usual). Leaning on the top barrier in the open air bit near the pasty huts. No distinguishing features!
you git hope its a good view. i take it the atmosphere is dead compared to the blackthorn. be nice to hear what the blackthorn sounds like from another stand. im on block c which apparently is next to the away end. hope rocky and see me chuckle when we score
i would let clarkson and richards start vs wycombe. my team would be.... -------------- mildenhall --------------- smith --- parkes --- mcchrystal --- brown ---------------- clucas ----------------- -------- clarkson ------ o'toole --------- richards -------- brunt ---------- hammer what do you think?
if you beat us i wont be impressed at all. doing the double over us when we were killing you in the abandoned game would be so unfair.
We haven't had an atmosphere like the one v Barnet for years. I really hope it continues. Like everyone else, I'll be behind The Gas win, lose or draw. But I can't see beyond a win because Wardy's got things so right.
Pirates Ahoy After coming down to earth on Tuesday the Chairboys now face a tricky away trip to the west country to take on the rejuvenated Pirates whose form under John Ward is even more of a turnaround than our own under Gaz and they now sit top of the form league. Changes are certain for this one with Josh out with a 2 game ban and Bruno out with ankle ligament damage from THAT TACKLE on Tuesday I expect an even game that could go either way but if we are leading with 30 mins to go expect some skullduggery from the Pirates I think this one may end in a draw
Well we have scored last minute of injury time goals in the last 3 games so if you are leading by the odd gpal near the end, we wont be giving up.
Wycombe midfielder Josh Scowen will miss out through suspension. QPR loanee Bruno Andrade will have a late fitness test on his ankle injury while Gary Doherty is now back in full training.
Should be a few goals in this, probably 2-2. Looking forward to the game and a quick escape afterwards.

WYCOMBE Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth, pictured, is backing his players to bounce back from defeat at the hands of Bradford City on Tuesday night. The 3-0 loss was the first the in-form Chairboys had suffered since New Year's Day. "I've always said we're not going to win every game," said Ainsworth. "Sometimes you take positives out of defeat and this has brought us down to earth and made sure we will be on it at the weekend. "I told the lads don't be down because we've been on a great run and what they have achieved in the last two-and-a-half months, from 24th to 12th in the league, is something to be proud of. "The main thing is do we still believe we can beat Bristol Rovers on Saturday? The last time we got a hammering the lads responded really well and I still believe we can beat anyone." Ainsworth's side are 12 points clear of the relegation zone after he revived a struggling team when he took charge â initially as caretaker â in September. It has been an impressive run of form that has raised hopes among supporters that the Chairboys could make a late dash for the play-offs. However, Ainsworth said: "People keep looking above us and seeing who we can catch. I keep looking below us and pushing further and further away from that bottom two. "That's still my aim, and we'll look at where we are after 46 games."
I am off for a meal shortly followed by a shed load of beer. I will get up tomorrow hung over to **** but after a huge fry up followed by a good few pints in my favourite Glos Rd pub I should be headache free to enjoy a 3-1 win for the Rovers. Have a good weekend all
