Well that was a surprise!, actually not at all.. The sooner we get someone in who knows where the net is the better.. What Does it need for DC to realise that we need a frigging striker.. Hang on! Think we have been in the same situation before??? What happened to all the talk of a big invester coming in? Not looking forward to going to the Crawley game...after this complete sham!

Well my prediction was half right I knew we would lose today 25 shots on goal and we couldn't even score
Hopefully this will have the same effect as last season's match v Bath City ie get a good reaction for the rest of the season...
Bloody FA cup. Tin-pot competition anyway! Nothing but an unnecessary distraction every season. its not as if we're ever going to win the bloody thing, and the further we progress, the more chance there is of us being publicly taken apart by a team from the higher leagues on national TV and made to look a laughing stock. We are more than capable of doing that in round 1 all on our own! Well done to all concerned - get the embarassment out of the way nice and early so the rest of the football world will soon forget about it. Thank God for forward planning at The Mem again! "Banana skins are us" should become our new anthem next season!
Thought our keeper should have done better for the goal. In fact I think a decent keeper would help confidence spread through the team.
How much more confidence would a good striker give, Nichols was possibly at fault for the goal yesterday but the rest of the team had about 25 shots at goal and didn't score. You cant put all the blame on Nichols for the defeat there were ELEVEN players on the pitch at any one time wearing Blue and White quarters on Sunday so the blame must be shared, after all he did save the penalty to stop Rovers going behind earlier in the game where as I haven't heard of any goals being disallowed for any reason.
Nicholls needs to be dropped. He is making far too many mistakes which is costing us. Mildenhall was dropped for far less. Yes Nicholls saved a penalty but no excuses for letting in that goal. Of course other players let us and the team down and they should be dropped too. Shooting practice needed as well. Let's see if they can score in a brothel, then try hitting a barn door before trying in a real goal. I say give Lucas a chance. He should have had a chance yesterday.
