I would like to go on record after just finding out about and seeing a brief clip of Some so called SAFC fans sing about Gary Speed.

My first reaction was shock and disgust that these disgusting excuses for turds not only sang it but had the nerve to claim they are Sunderland Fans!!!!

I am now ANGRY they use their limited mentality to darken the name of 'OUR' Club.

Yes we all take the Mick out if the Mags, They in turn take the Mick out of us! We are bitter rivals and will remain so, but for some LOW LIFE SCUM to sing and joke about such a Tragic event is scraping the barrel!

It states in the ECHO that the police are investigating and that Stewart Donald is disgusted!

I hope all true Mackems are and I also hope when those responsible are caught they are BANNED FOR LIFE!!!

Our club does not need fans like this and neither does the Football Community!

Seems a bit extreme to suggest banning a daft young lad for life for singing an offensive song especially considering that he's held his hands up and apologised unreservedly.

Not excusing him at all but a lifetime ban haway. Beardsley got less of a ban for his actions.

Young lads are daft, I wouldn’t dream of singing the Harry Roberts song now because i’ve grown up and fully understand the seriousness of the subject. He deserves a kick up the arse and nothing more, Christ if everyone was banned for life who chanted about vile subjects in the 70’s and 80’s you would lose half the crowd. Hopefully the massive negative reaction to it by our fans will stop other bellends doing something as stupid but I’m not holding my breath.

Cant understand why anyone would take the piss out of Gary Speed though. He was a model professional as far as im aware. I could understand, but not condone, any similar chants to a few ex newcastle players if they happened to kill themselves, but not him.
 
Buch of idiot kids singing a grossly inappropriate song....yep sounds like a away day's coach for any club in the world. Let's be honest if it wasn't for social media's 'cancel culture' no one would give a ****. Not excusing or condoning it but refusing to be remotely bothered by it.

As for the scum. When they stop branding our entire city as *****philes I might give more of a ****.
