The trouble for me is I've only just started getting into FM and it's taking me some time to get properly hooked. I'm probably gonna put more effort into FM 12 when it comes out.
I actually think that the lack of control on the pitch makes FM even more fun. It means you go proper mental when you score (well I do anyway) and get really annoyed when you concede. Its a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.
FM for me all the way, it's much more statistically accurate than FIFA giving it more realism for me. I can sit for hours playing FM but FIFA I get bored after 4/5 games, when you have so much control it's too easy to influence the course of the game therefore you win. Only time I've really played FIFA in the past 3/4 years is for shots. FM has so much more about it and it's a real football simulation, FIFA is just too arcade-y for me. But to be fair they are entirely two different games, both best at what they are made to do.
Just started a save with the ''Man City'' of the Championship. Guess who that is? You get a 10m budget to work with!
Most satisfying win on Fifa 11 EVER!!! Playing against this ****er of a Stoke fan, bragging how they got 6 points of us and apparently outplayed us. I told him his side was ****ing **** and just relied on set pieces and ****ing throw ins to win with their big players. So he challenged me to a match. And he had these custom corners set up so all his players would all barge their way to the goal and head one in from 4 yards. Here's how the match went - 15 mins - Kenwyne Jones header from corner 0-1 22 mins - Huth header from corner 0-2 29 mins - Huth header from corner 0-3 HALF TIME - He's like haahahhaahaha ***got geordie ******, you're teams weak and ****. 0-3 to Stoke. 55 mins - Hatem Ben Arfa skins 3 defenders, finishing neatly in the corner. 1-3 67 mins - I was running in on goal with Lovernkrands but the ****er slide tackled me from behind like a bitch to stop me scoring, so he got a player red carded and i got a free kick. BUT - Cabaye curls one in the top corner. Epic FK. 2-3 75 mins - Lovely passing, Loverman squares to Ba, Ba plays a through ball and Barton smashes one in from 15 yards. 3-3 86 mins - I take off Barton and Cabaye and put Jonas and Marveaux on. 90 mins - Jonas crosses a ball in, and Marveaux scores a stunning volley from 12 yards - 4-3 to the Toon! 91 mins - He says i play **** football and then quits XD All he did was smash shots from 25 yards so Harper would parry the ball out for his stupid corners which are ****ing solid to defend. They've got 4-5 players who are far too overpowered in the air and you can't mark them all. ****ing prick. Not only are Stoke **** in real life, the fans play the same type of football on Fifa.
Club transfers. You just go to - My Fifa 11 > Edit teams > Squads > Club transfers - Then go to what ever team the player you want is on. Go onto the team, find the player, select the player, and then on the right hand side of the screen, it will make you choose the team you want that player to transfer to. Choose Newcastle. E.G. - Go to Lille, select Cabaye, then select Newcastle and he'll be transfered and playable for the Toon.
I know how to edit the sides but how do you play online with an edited side? It just makes me download the current ones.
Obviously he will. Hatem Ben Arfa was an 81 on Marsielles, then he went down to 78 at Newcastle. Doesn't matter i edited him back up.
