Career mode with Newcastle just started again last night after putting Cabaye into our team Harper Simmo Colo Taylor Enrique Barton Cabaye Tiote Guittierrez ME Best Subs Forster Nolan Ben Arfa Guthrie Williamson Gosling Ferguson Happy days.
I was going to start another nufc one with cabaye in it but still into my main one at the minute so i couldn't be bothered. half way through season 4 or 5 (cant remember....) top of the league, still going in all cups, mental load of games. got gameiro and gervinho which makes me sad haha. tried to buy cabaye in the january window but find it impossible to sell anyone on.
I've found it quite hard to sell also but most of the toon squad develop quite nicely. I got bored of the manager version though so I only play my Virtual Pro career now, dont understand why Newcastle dont buy on that :S, sell quick enough though when any of them do decent!
Only Toon players I have left are Tiote, Ben Arfa, Colo, Tiote, Barton, Guti. Trying to sell Barton and Guti but they just won't go. Don't mind keeping them like. Guti's a bit surplus to requirements as I play with 2 wingers a lot of the time and there's Gervinho, Ben Arfa, Hazard, Taarabt, Lucas, Neymar all also available to play in those slots so ya know haha. I played Virtual Pro for quite a while. Was with Lincoln, won the FA Cup with them haha then moved to Leeds and then gave up after that season. There's something about manager mode though that I just keep coming back to!
Doing well there then I dunno why I just could never get into the manager mode properly, I was abit cheesed off when Ben Arfa refused to join permanently, got a young German replacement who had all the attributes but just couldn't cut it. I'm right into the VP at the moment though, only really got into it last week after joining a school friends Pro Club. Using my season with Newcastle to try and unlock all the achievements

Yeah it's going well. Won the league twice, FA Cup once and League Cup once. Got to Champs League final end of last season, got beaten by Barca though. I get really into it ha. The transfer windows are the best bit! And no one ever joins after loans! Major bug, very annoying. Yeah VP's pretty good too takes a few games to get used to it but easy to get into. I'm always a striker though as the rest of the team are awful and take **** shots, end up taking everything on myself haha. Your guys a mid then? Haven't really got into it this year! Takes a lot more time than manager mode I find. It is quite good though. Might have to give it another go on 12
Yeah CAM mate Our Club just made League 30 last night out of 50 in the British Isles so we're doing alright at the moment. New season starts again in 15days or something.
