I personally think Fifa 11 was right in terms of shooting. Fifa 10 was too easy, Fifa 11 made it harder, Fifa 12 it's even harder. It's just a matter of getting used to it. I hated Fifa 11 when i played it at first, but i eventually began to love it once i got used to it. I just think in Fifa 12 that the good players have become too good. Van Persie is far too strong. He's not a weak player, but he's pushing off the likes of Kompany and Richards, which is ridiculous. Ibravimovic is far too strong now. He basically scores with every header he wins.
Well at least the AI actually plays football now, the amount of 0-0 and 1-0 wins I had in career mode in FIFA 11 were ridiculous. Actually feels like a proper game of Football now.
Aye, but the computers finishing is ****ing far too good. They'll not be balanced or in a correct position to score, but if a ball comes in they'll get the exact power and placement. It's quite annoying. They just get goals from no where.
Was there any need to change the finishing? I can't get the hang of this new finishing, i'm just putting the same amount of power i did on Fifa 11 and timing them the same, but half the time they're going straight to the keeper. I could be winning these matches 3-1 4-1 but the changing of the finishing is weird. They didn't need to make finishing any harder, it was fine in Fifa 11.
I like the new attitude towards defending, but they should have made minor adjustments to players, not make them super duper jizztacular awesome....

Finally got it. Defending is so difficult and I can't get the ball off them because they pass it as soon as I get near them. Oh well, I'll get used to it!
Defending is definitely harder I reckon. And shooting is too. Liking it so far though, but will take a while to get used to it as usual!
I have gone down to Semi-pro now . Just want to get used to it first before becoming class at it. I just scored a stunner with Kevin-Prince Boateng, I am very impressed with the detail on his 'helmet style' tattoo.
I'm getting the hang of the finishing now. The defending wasn't a hard thing for me, the finishing was weird. I started on experienced, got raped by Barcelona 2-5. I've went down to the lower difficulty to get used to it. I can play well with these teams, but when we come to play with Newcastle... It's gonna be hard.
I'm looking forward to playing with a League 2 team cracking demo. I find scoring goals tough, and defending is a challenge. But passing is class sounds like Carrick.
They've had diving for Pro Evo on this gen's consoles too. Ridiculous feature. Only managed to pull it off once which was on the PES 2008 demo with Cristiano Ronaldo XD What FIFA had a dive feature?
This. I always remember the diving and two footed tackles on This Is Football. That was class, won me a few free kicks and penalties.
Nah diving would piss a lot of people off and people would base a strategy on it. The refs already get decisions wrong, let that be the reason matches **** up
I am pretty sure that no FIFA game has ever had a dive button and the reason for that is because FIFA didn't want to promote diving. I would happily be proven wrong though. However it is definitely the reason why they don't have it anymore on the games, if I am indeed wrong. The likeliness of me being wrong is extremely slim however, as I am a genius.
