Ashley seems to strengthening his hold. Perhaps buying up the remaining shares in an internal share issue. He seems to be securing his hold over the merchandising and retail to the extent that his contracts will survive even liquidation. The current assets are subject to litigation over alleged fraudulent acquisition, which means that they cannot be securitised against and cannot be sold on out of Admin or from liquidation. Furthermore, the subsequent acquisition is being investigated as is the IPO. Ashley will, if he stays, run the club within its means, which will result in the club, barring a manager of the ilk of Jim McLean, being non competitive with Celtic, consequently the hordes will refuse to turn up. King is under investigation over new tax issues in SA. He has had to repatriate his and his families overseas investments. He could only become a factor as a venture capitalist, not investing his own money. He is pleading poverty with IRS. They would take a dim and suspicious view of monies suddenly appearing. Ibrox requires massive investment otherwise it may not receive a HS licence some time in the future. The future looks extremely grim. Some TRFC fans still will not face up to the reality. Once MA secures his hold, what makes anyone think that he will continue to provide finance? Ally will not go without his payout, which he is due him and he is right to demand. His contract is his contract. Litigation over Rfc in liquidation will go on for a very very long time possibly, with the implications for the assets. The future..........make up your own mind.
Mike Ashley cannot run Rangers unless he gets rid of Newcastle. It's been all over the papers this week that he is already being chased by rhe SFA for what he's already been up to at Ibrox. Perhaps you missed that. How about the Rangers assets being subject to litigation and therefore not being used as security or sold off then ? The Albion carpark and Edminston house are at the moment being used as security on the loans that Mike Ashley has kindly given the Rangers board. So that's another big massive fail from you ya dick. The future? Hopefully you won't be such a complete moron but I doubt it.
why are you happy to see the mess? your club has closed half its stadium as a direct result of all this carry on.
Another myth. It would be happening regardless of whether Rangers were in the league or not. No doubt the loss of Hearts, Hibs and Rangers has had an adverse effect on crowd attendances but they've been going down for years. The 'quality' of player and football on show has been steadily going down since 2003. The prices charged at the gate don't reflect what's on offer.
I'm happy to lose any part of my club that may have been reliant on a bunch of cheats for competition oh, and to answer your question, I'm ****ing loving it!
I reckon so. Do you think 30,000+ people were going to turn up to watch Celtic v St Mirren or Dundee this season, even if Rangers were in the league? Crowds have been dwindling for 10 years.
