Seriously though Leo I hope you can understand my point about people from other clubs voting on this issue! and the fact the way we named the nest by posting so everyone could see who was involved!
I mean if millens has voted which i think he has ....it is the decisive vote ....I dont think the workings and admin of the nest should be open to other club members!
I do agree with you and hope that if he did vote he tells us so that we can discount it - he is a very reasonable guy so am sure he would respect our opinions on that. Having said that I suggested the poll to see if it came down heavily one way or the other - it has not so it shows opinion is fairly equal - you would not want to suggest that a couple of votes either way was decisive as some may not get the chance to vote as they are away SLB for instance? I am happy for Ak to pick what he wants to do - however of you and Hornette feel very strongly about it then maybe we should go with you as the other side - myself included do not seem to feel strongly and I am ahppy to accept whatever route is chosen (Bet we now get a few "strong" opinions from the other side just to confuse us )
Leo the Poll was a good idea ,dont get me wrong , and although it looks good and is great for cross club threads!,the old fashioned way we voted on the old 606 was better!
Just from a practical perspective, how on earth can this work? Are we expecting AK to trawl through all the views on here and judge these against the vote and then come up with a democratic decision? We seem to making a bit of an industry on this...
Wouldn't keeping it going be a good idea? The total number of posts would become the highest on the site, not bad for "little" Watford!
W-Y simplest thing is just leave it alone! However if a vote has to be done ,it has to be done in a manner where fans from other clubs cannot influence the result!
Why do we care about being the highest number of this that or the other - I thought that was for the teenagers who like their Twitter /facebook thingummyies (you can tell how old I am ) W_Y - not an industry. Ak will look at the vote and assuming it remains pretty equal he will just pick what he wants - simples. If it had gone stongly one way or the other it would have directed him to that view.
