Solutions to the problems at SAFC

  • Sack the head coach, keep the players - it's all down to him

  • Get shot of most of the players - it's their fault

  • Keep the gaffer, he will get it right under the new owner

  • Fans fault (lol, just joking)

  • Armageddon, we are lifetime members of league 1 regardless

  • That's football! Still getting a season ticket

Johnson signed 65 players in 4 seasons at BCFC.
City at season end are the worst side in the Championship.
We've have 65 managers in the last 4 years man, nevermind players. Bristol City finished 19th in the Championship. Usually, the 'worst' team over a 46 game season finish bottom, Bristol City did not achieve a bottom placed finish.

What he says and what he does are not always the same
He is like a used car salesman
He is not the man for us
He talks about youth, that is just to give himself more time in the job
Same as players really, 'we need to do X, y and z in the second leg' they said after the first game but they didn't do it. I've heard Power numerous times this season 'its not good enough' yes Max, we know but why does it keep happening under 3 different gaffers?

over it already, fell short but had a frigging good go. now if it's true about Clarke harris Kryil is already talking big. diamond, Embleton, possibly french academy players in and a French manager or keep Lee. Best of luck to Blackpool or Lincoln(they were non league not long ago) 40,000 in there every home game next season will be a cracking atmosphere and we will attract the best players outside the premier.

Clarke Harris is definitely not true. He’s playing championship football next year

It's the Sunderland way, suck you back in and then **** you over

biggest summer in the clubs history, need to get it right no excuses this season

we got the owner and money now
We've got the structure

As you say Magnus, no excuses next season. He'll have more money to spend than anyone else and better facilities. If he can't mould HIS team and storm this league, we need someone in who can.

Just want to pass on some info from someone who spoke directly to some of the players as they were coming out of the ground tonight.

For the record, i don't make stuff up.Don't like it when others do, serves no purpose.

Charlie Wyke - Came out, heard a few comments made and said "**** this club". Got on the coach, got off a short while later and into a car which sped off.
Luke O'Nien - Hasn't been offered a contract yet
Aiden McGeady - Would love to be offered a new deal, but nothing yet.

Make of those what you will.

Can't say i blame him if he's being slagged off after scoring 31 goals for the season. I wouldn't want to stay

I’ve seen the video on Twitter of a bunch of so called fans hanging around after the game and shouting abuse at the manager. They’re an embarrassment to this football club and I hope Johnson knows that we aren’t all like that.

I am not a happy season holder...

Very, very pizzed off at where we continue to reside.

Very down...i will see how I feel at the start of the season... my attendance at the SoL who knows... not me for sure!

Doesn’t really matter wether you are happy or not mate you are a Sunderland fan, you don’t have a choice it’s for life sorry to say. You will be rocking when it all takes shape <ok>

Haven't seen the interview yet, so difficult to comment just hope it's not kind words and platitudes and that he does actually try using some of the kids. He did do so in the cup competitions to an extent but seemed loathe to do it in the league until he almost had to. I can understand a manager going with senior pros it's the safe choice I just think we need to be a little braver

What was that famous comment again... you don't win anything with kids :emoticon-0140-rofl:

100% this, even if hed gone with the senior players like he did, once we blew auto promotion as good as guaranteed playoffs so not even really a risk giving them a try.

not convinced by johnson, hes let some of our young players down.

no disrespect to the likes of younger dan neil, but if they cant get in a crap safc side at league 1 level their not gunna make it here.

been crying out for a CD so 09s energy could go into midfield, look at yesterday 2 midfielders in defence the at one point 3. so if younger at age 21 cant get a place now hes no chance.

our midfield has been ****, weak as piss, again same as above if neil cant get games now.

theres 2 things here from those & likely few more young lads, there never gunna be good enough for sunderland? or johnson has held them back not giving them a go?

what was to be lost giving them a go, nowt. appreciate long time ago bit denis smith walked us out of this division simply recognising it took a blend of senior pros & young lads with energy....have we not already got that now just failed to see & use.

fuxking shambles we fell apart soon as Lincoln.....fuxkng Lincoln attacked us!!!!

big clear out needed, although be very disappointed if 09 goes as his sort of energy & attitude will take us up

anway rant over.....still renewed for next season, felt weird being back yesterday...typical sunderland to let you down when you think were back on

KTF...sunderland till i die

That's great thanks. We would tell anyone that will listen that David Moyes is a terrible manager but look what he's done with West Ham. What LJ did with your lot is irrelevant.

I remember that guy from when I read a thread on their forum about Johnson at the time he joined us. He hates him with a blind passion and it's not because of results it's because of an accusation of nepotism which may well be true but has bugger all to do with us as you say.
