I tend to agree. I don't really blame Bridge for not going elsewhere, where he presumably would have had to take a massive pay cut. If he didn't care about playing football, I'm sure he wouldn't have gone on loan to West Ham last season (they were, after all, in deep relegation trouble). I think he does care about playing football, but he just doesn't want to take such a huge pay-cut to do it.
