This is good news...I think. My take is that the rumours about him going loco were true and he's had a long painful road back from some dark place. At his best (which we have only seen fleetingly) he would walk through some of the defences in this league.
Luke Young will probably not play again and retire. If Diakite comes in and performs well I can not see Harry letting him go. At his best he can also be a squad player in the premiership.
Perhaps 'Arry, in true Mrs Warnock, tea & cake style, should bring the lad down to Sandbanks for some sea breezes, plus he'd have Rosie for company?
