In that position, he breaks records and actually scores more than the strikers (Donovan and later, Dempsey)! But Poyet will do anything but play him there. He'll even play Wickham (a natural centre-forward) to the left of Altidore, rather than play Altidore to the left of Wickham! Y'Know, if I was a young player's father at Sunderland, I'd afraid I'd be telling him the same as Connor's father - get out of here, son, before he ruins your career like he's ruining Jozy's.
