    Seeing as there are virtually no AFC Bournemouth Not606 members out there [check their forum], how many honorary members will there be from here as of Monday [tomorrow] night..?

    Looks like Radio 5 will give over some of The Monday Night Club to the their fixture and I know Claridge will go bananas if they get promoted [like me, he likes all South Coast teams to do well] and it would be a fantastic achievement, easily on a par with us, as AFCB are tiny in comparison. Also I want to see Andrew Surman doing well.

    Andrew Surman was my son's first "favourite player" and I have always had a soft spot for the cherries; I lived there for five years. I've always like Eddie Howe as a manager and I for one will be rooting for them.

    Having said that, if they fail to go up, we should send up our vultures to circle over Wilson, Ritchie and Francis.

    If/When Bournemouth win tonight and are promoted to the Premier League, is anyone who suggested Howe shouldn't be football league manager of the decade going to reconsider? I hope they do it and I hope Eddie Howe gets the plaudits he richly deserves. Absolutely incredible achievement.

    I am struggling to think of a more incredible feat of having Bournemouth in the Premier League, based purely on club status/size. Maybe Wigan getting promoted and staying there for 7 years equals or beats it. Maybe Blackpool getting there is close.

    It is incredible what we have done over the past 5-10 years with them.

    Although I would agree this season he should get manager of the season, I think Mick McCarthy is in with a shout for it. Near confirming his side a play off spot with a squad of free transfers (plus one 10k player). Amazing achievement.
