There isn't one. Used it myself to go to Watford-Forest earlier this season. You can have a max of 2 tickets, in the home end.

You just turn up at the ticket office on the match day and collect them by showing your confirmation email.

You'll have to create a Sky Tickets account, but again, no catch and no required payment or subscriptions.

No giving my details to Moonpig.com then. I was already planning on Lancaster City v Marine in the Evo Stik league cup...or something like that...which is also free.

Nope, thankfully not - I was reading about Moonpig this morning, terrible they've not even tried to solve the problem.

Well, the opportunity is there (even if for a limited time)!

It's elegantly incompetent. Like, an actual human must have looked at it and thought "Yep! That's definitely a good idea"

He's right. You can't pick and choose who you allow to rehabilitate. Everyone finishing their sentence deserves the chance to become a functional member of society. Ched Evans will deserve the same when he finishes his.

No one is saying that in law Ched Evans can't restart his career, but that doesn't mean anyone has an obligation to give him a job. A thief may pay his dues, but, if his chosen career is in finance, he is unlikely to get a job in the same field. Evans is in a high profile job...he has to face facts, he has to go abroad (when he is allowed to) or he has to find himself another career. His victim is having trouble rebuilding her life (because of his supporters that he has not tried to call to heel) so, pardon me, if I have no pity for him.

Mandaric reported to be about to sell Sheffield Wednesday to a Thai consortium. Don't know a lot about football finance, but I always thought it was difficult to make money from football, so why do all these foreign buyers think they can get a return on their money compared with investing in some other business. I know Markus brought us from League 1 to the promised land, but it doesn't happen that often. Obviously a nice little earner for Mandaric.

Every time Mandaric sells a football club he makes a nice tidy profit. Generally, he sells at the right time so that several months later he can buy another. He's a steward of football clubs. He buys low, makes the club a bit healthier [thus making it more valuable] and then sells. Fair enough.

I have no axe to grind as long as he doesn't come here, but why get your club dragged into it when you don't have to. Why not at least wait until his review is heard?

I think all their sponsors said they would pull out.

Tubbs signs for Pompey. A great signing for them.

Oldham Athletic have decided against signing convicted rapist Ched Evans following threats to the club's "staff and their families".

    Not just sponsor pressure.

I don't believe that to be 100% true. Their biggest sponsor ZenOffice had threatend to pull out if he signed. I reckon it is more 60% sponsors pulling out - 40% the threats ( which are disgusting and the people need to be found).

Doubt any other clubs will be tempted to repeat the circus. Farewell Ched.

All he has to do is acknowledge he made a huge mistake, apologise to the girl, and everyone can begin to move on.

Evans should contact the Women Against Rape group and offer to support their cause. It would be an almost unprecedented position, but if he wants to get accepted again (right or wrong) then he needs to build bridges. He could offer himself to talk to other convicted rapists or evenly offer to spend a year understanding women who have suffered and supporting the cause (if they wanted it).

This of course would all depend on his review result, but would paint him in a different light to the light that the majority of people currently see him in.

He could even apologise in a way that wouldn't damage his review, instead of flat denial. There are ways to say things

As I have said before he could say that he thought she'd consented...now realises that he may have been mistaken and apologise if true. Not admitting anything, but recognises he may have been mistaken. He might not have wanted to say it before his trial, but could have said it on release. This lack of comprehension that he was involved in something sordid says a lot about his character. He could also refrain from calling the girl a slag...pot and kettle if you ask me.

People also keep talking about the wrong thing. They talk of his right to rebuild his life...of course he can, but no one is obliged to employ him. They talk as if he is being blocked from working by law...he isn't, but he has to accept that he needs a new career or an eventual move abroad. I save my sympathy for far more deserving released criminals than him.
