    Love the comment by League Two leaders Oxford's chairman Ian Lenagan would not confirm if Portsmouth had made an official approach, but said he was not concerned by any interest in the 46-year-old.

    "The fact that one club, who are a failing club, comes in for him. That tells you he is a good manager," Lenagan told BBC Radio Oxford.

    When you consider that they have the added difficulty of playing in Europe, is mid-table at this juncture really sack-worthy? They aren't on a terrible run...2 wins and 2 losses in their last four.

    Wigan Athletic
    Sheffield Wednesday
    Barnsley
    Bristol City
    Crawley Town
    Portsmouth


    That's about 8% of the Football League that have replaced their manager this week alone.

    Disagree. It was mutual agreement. I like Coyle but Wigan have clearly underachieved with the squad they have, Europa League is no excuse really.

    Indeed. How not to run a football club. The final nail in the coffin nearly happened here at SFC. The club would be dead and gone by now had Lowe sold up. Thankfully, he used some of his illustrious business acumen to spot a bad deal.

    Coventry are on the ropes, yet in Steven Pressley and the squad of players he's coaching they have a lifeline, which SISU are limiting and even destroying on a daily basis.

    Bristol City appoint Steve Cotterill as their new manager - hardly any staying power there.

    Crawley appoint John Gregory - now I didn't see that one coming.
