Blackpool OG in stoppage time ruined my prediction league. No money on it, but can you put a price on pride?

Burnley mascot Bertie the Bee sent off by the referee for offering his glasses to the linesman during the game.

Burnley look class, hope they make it up as I am pretty fond of them, and no, they can't have JRod back when they get here.

That's got to be a six game ban for DJ Campbell, three each for the tackle and headbutt.

    Behaving like an absolute tool.

Incidentally, what's going on with Billy Sharp, not making the bench for Reading and must be costing them a fortune, is he injured?

I think I've turned a corner, seen an Adkins interview for the first time since AdkinsPochCorteseGate without feeling like I've been punched in the chest.

I see Neal Trotman scored for Plymouth on Saturday.

Somewhat remarkably, his last goal came in November 2009, when Southampton beat Southend United at Roots Hall by a score line of 1-3.

    :)

Well done at last. I'd got over my feeling quite early on, and seeing Adkins again just felt a little odd that I'd loved the man so much for being a successful Saints manager. Then I watched a football programme he was on a few weeks back, and he brought up Southampton while answering a question, and talked about how proud he had been to be associated with Saints, and how wonderful it was that we were 4th [at the time]. I pretty much had to go and get a kitchen towel to blow my nose into, because it was that utterly genuine nature that Adkins has that beguiled us all back then, coming out again. He hasn't changed and we will always remember his contribution.

I'm a neutral for this one, so all I want to see is an entertaining game, and it perhaps should be with 2 footballing sides. However, games involving Brighton haven't exactly been full of goals so far this season.

Arsenal field a relatively strong line up for their league cup game against Chelsea:

Fabianski, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Monreal, Ramsey, Wilshere, Rosicky, Cazorla, Ryo, Bendtner
