So Reading, Brighton and Ipswich end up taking just one away point between them. Glorious opportunity missed for Bournemouth therefore, but at the same time they are not out of it. Three wins out of three gives them a slight chance, starting with a massive game away to Ipswich on Monday. And Harry Arter will presumably be back from suspension.
Millwall with 11 points in 5 games...hell of an escape, if they don't fall back into the relegation zone.
I'm sure Blackpool will go, two wins since November. Have a look at the table on this report: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25063099
Agreed. I think the Sheff Wed loss at home was the killer. Of course, not everything is cut and dried, so we may see more swings, but the Cherries are just going to have to have another bloody good season, next time. Probably wouldn't do them any harm either, as currently they are almost certainly doing better than their ambitions.
What is going on at QPR? They looked near certainties at the start!! Seem to have lost the plot in the second half of the season!!! IMO a team needs momentum going into the play-offs to succeed - re West Ham and Crystal Palace in the last two seasons. At this stage, it would look like either Derby or Wigan. And at the other end of the Championship table, Blackpool for Preston and one of the London clubs (Charlton or Millwall being replaced by Brentford?
He signed four new strikers!! Outdoing Big Sam in 2011-12 when he signed a plethora of strikers - Maynard, Vaz Te and Baldock but without the same success!! As of yet.
On the one hand, QPR's squad (on paper) wipes the floor with any other team they will meet in the play offs. On the other hand, they're probably going to be the one side to go into them with no form, confidence or momentum. I'm expecting the later to over-ride the former, be it on the semi's or the final.
This is quite an entertaining match. Wolves started off really well, but Orient have been all over them for the last half hour or so.
